Cooler temperatures — and maybe some showers — headed to SoCal this weekend

BEDFORD, California — People everywhere are saying it: It’s that time of year again.
It’s sunny, it’s warm, it’s nice, and it’s time to get out and play.
And that’s the way it’s going to be.
“This is exactly what I wanted. It’s wonderful,” said a mother of two who just got off the school bus.
“What a great start to the year,” agreed another woman.
And the rest of us are having fun.
“I like the sunshine. It’s so nice,” said a lady who was walking her dog Friday afternoon in the hills north of Malibu.
“It feels like we’re moving,” agreed a mother on the beach in Malibu.
There’s been a little rain, but it’s getting warmer and warmer.
So far in the morning, temperatures in the 90s are headed for the west coast.
That’s a relief for some, but a bit of a problem for others depending on where you live.
There are areas where it’s still cold, and areas where it’s not so much.
And if your weather is not too hot all the time, you may not want to go outside unless you have the wind and sun to get you going.
One thing we do know right now for certain: The weekend is coming.
